The Freedom of Religion or Freedom of Worship is significant because everyone should have a right to believe in whatever faith they choose to believe in. No one knows the real truth until we are taken away from this earth, so it is not fair to judge someone off of a belief that none of us one hundred percent sure knows is true. People have the right to attend any church they choose to and cannot be forced by the government to worship a certain God or religion. This is what makes the United States the place that many people want to spend the rest of their lives in and feel comfortable enough to express their beliefs and views. There are so many different religions throughout the United States that it would be silly to have everyone choose one and stick to it. That would create more conflict because opinions would start to take over the room and everyone would feel like they are right and not wrong one bit. Religion is a beautiful thing because people really base there life off these beliefs. It is amazing how there can be so many different opinions on how the world is going to end and whether or not there is a God. Religion is passed down from generation to generation. It is important to families that they keep these traditions and lifestyles in full effect. People fear what religion can really mean and be. The main fear many people deal with is wondering if we are going to live again after we die. What is the afterlife like? Is it all what people say it is with Jesus returning to earth or is this life just a huge lie that we aren’t good at figuring out. Religion doesn’t give us all the answers but it helps us feel secure about what, why, and who we are living for. Without believing in something or standing up for something, we would all fall for anything which is exactly what the devil wants. The devil wants us to be confused and not be sure what is true. That’s why he throws drugs and different challenges at us, but with religion we can get through these challenges and beat him out. Religion will never go away and that’s why it should remain a freedom to the people and be respected as well. This is a right every individual should have.
